I grew up in Dutchess County, NY on our old family farm. I spent a great deal of time with my grandparents and great aunt. Most of my teaching experience has been at the fourth, fifth, and sixth grade levels. I have completed my Masters in Special Education and have taught since 2000, in both public and private school settings. I love teaching and working hard to help children discover success. My husband and I have a goofy Great Dane who thinks he belongs snuggled in your lap, and a gregarious Corgi who can train any human to retrieve him treats from the cookie jar. When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time reading in a hammock and growing flowers in my backyard.
